Floyd Carrier

General Superintendent

Floyd Carrier is a seasoned construction professional that worked alongside Bill Coltzer Jr., AIA at Zero/Six Consulting until 2009. At that time, the demand to verify the quality of building envelope materials and installation through standardized testing grew so large, he and Bill decided to create a new company to specialize in the testing of these products. Z6 Commissioning, LLC., was born with Floyd leading the way. Floyd serves as President and was instrumental in gaining IS0/IEC 17025 accreditation. This is significant as this accreditation is only awarded to those organizations that can provide evidence of impartiality of testing results coupled with the technical acumen necessary to gain and maintain ISO/IEC accreditation. In his current role as General Superintendent at Coltzer Co., Floyd oversees the overall operation of construction site activities and manages field personnel to successfully complete each project on schedule and within budget. With over 40 years of experience in all facets on the construction industry, he provides a high level of quality assurance for our clients, while administering good construction safety practices on-site that allow us to construct facilities safely and efficiently.
